Another Double for University Lodge of Chester!


Witnessed by his father, Bradley signs the Declaration Book



Following the successful double Initiation in February, University Lodge of Chester scored another double Initiation in March!

Both candidates had been waiting for some time to join the Lodge but due to the Covid pandemic and the subsequent suspension of meetings their Initiations were put on hold.

Bradley, a Law undergraduate at the University of Chester is the son of a Willaston freemason becomes the second "Lewis" in the Lodge, and his proud father was present with a deputation from his Lodge to witness the ceremony.


The ceremony was conducted in fine form by the Worshipful Master Sonny Smith assisted by his Officers.

At the Festive Board, members were entertained by guest, Karl Williamson who led the singing of the Entered Apprentices Song - a first for the University Lodge of Chester! Then it was off to the Marlborough Arms for some further refreshment.
