This past Saturday morning, the brethren of the University Lodge of Chester
gathered for a significant and solemn occasion—the raising of Brother Jack to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason.
The ceremony was nothing short of exceptional, with the Lodge officers delivering a Premier League performance in every aspect of the ritual. Their precision, sincerity, and dedication ensured that Brother Jack’s journey was both meaningful and unforgettable.
Following the formal proceedings, the Lodge convened for a highly entertaining Festive Board, where the new firing glasses made their much-anticipated debut. Their introduction added a fresh element to the evening’s toasts, enhancing the camaraderie and spirit of the occasion.
As is tradition, many members retired to a local hostelry after the meeting to continue the celebrations, reflecting on the morning’s success and the bright future of the Lodge.
