University Lodge of Chester Honoured for Contributions to the Province of Cheshire 2027 MCF Festival

The University Lodge of Chester (ULoC) recently received a touching token of appreciation and official recognition for their outstanding support of the Province of Cheshire 2027 Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) Festival. In a heartfelt presentation, the Lodge was gifted a beautifully hand-turned wooden maul, symbolising the craftsmanship, unity, and dedication that the brethren of ULoC have displayed throughout their charitable efforts.

The presentation was made all the more special by the presence of Assistant Provincial Grand Master (APGM) Stephen Christian, who personally presented ULoC with a Grand Patron Certificate, marking a significant milestone in their fundraising journey. Having achieved an impressive 75% of their fundraising target, the Lodge has truly demonstrated its commitment to Masonic charity and the values it upholds.

The Worshipful Master of ULoC graciously accepted both the maul and the certificate on behalf of the Lodge. In his remarks, he extended sincere thanks to the Brethren of ULoC, acknowledging their generosity, dedication, and the collective spirit that made such an achievement possible.

These honours are a testament not only to the Lodge’s financial contributions but also to their active engagement and support of the wider Masonic community. As the 2027 MCF Festival continues, the University Lodge of Chester stands as a shining example of what can be achieved through unity, perseverance, and brotherly love.

The Lodge now proudly displays the maul and certificate as lasting reminders of their ongoing commitment to charity, and as motivation to reach the remainder of their goal in the years to come.
